Agreement
By downloading, installing, or using Voiced ("the App"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
License
Voiced grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App on Mac computers that you own or control, for personal or professional use. A single purchase entitles you to use the App on your own devices. You may not redistribute, sublicense, or share your license with others.
Intellectual property
The App, including its code, design, speech recognition models, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Voiced and is protected by copyright law. Your purchase grants a license to use the software. It does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property.
Restrictions
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the App
- Redistribute, sell, lease, or sublicense the App
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Your content
Voiced processes your audio locally on your device. We do not access, collect, or store any audio recordings, transcriptions, or other content you create using the App. You retain full ownership of everything you dictate. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Purchases and payments
Voiced is sold as a one-time purchase. Payment is processed by our payment provider, LemonSqueezy. By completing a purchase, you also agree to LemonSqueezy's terms of service. Prices are listed on our website and may change at any time, but changes will not affect existing purchases.
Free trial
Voiced offers a free trial period. During the trial you have full access to all features. When the trial ends, a purchase is required to continue using the App. No credit card is required to start the trial.
Refunds
If you are not satisfied with Voiced, you may request a refund within 30 days of purchase by contacting support@voicedhq.com. Refunds are processed through LemonSqueezy.
Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components. Transcription accuracy depends on audio quality, microphone hardware, accent, and environmental conditions. We do not guarantee any specific level of accuracy.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Voiced and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for it.
System requirements
Voiced requires macOS Sonoma (14.0) or later running on Apple Silicon (M1 or later). We do not guarantee compatibility with future macOS versions, though we intend to maintain compatibility through regular updates.
Updates
We may release updates to the App from time to time. Updates may include bug fixes, new features, or changes to existing functionality. Your continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of any changes.
Termination
We may terminate your license if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the App and delete all copies. Sections regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
