The short version
Voiced is a voice dictation app for Mac that processes everything on your Mac. Your audio never leaves your device. We don't collect, store, or transmit your voice data. Period.
What Voiced does not collect
- Audio recordings of your voice
- Transcribed text or dictation content
- Clipboard data or pasted text
- Keystrokes or hotkey usage patterns
- Names of apps you use Voiced with
- Any personal or identifying information
How transcription works
Voiced uses a speech recognition model that runs entirely on your Mac via Apple's CoreML framework. Unlike cloud-based voice-to-text tools for Mac, audio is captured from your microphone, processed locally in real time, and immediately discarded after transcription. No audio is saved to disk. No data is sent to any server.
Analytics and telemetry
Voiced does not include any analytics frameworks, tracking pixels, or telemetry. We do not use third-party analytics services. We have no way to know how often you use the app, what you say, or what you type.
License validation
When you purchase Voiced, a brief license check may occur to validate your purchase. This is the only network request Voiced makes. It does not transmit any voice, text, or usage data.
Updates
Voiced may check for software updates periodically. This check transmits only the current app version to determine if an update is available. No personal data is included.
Third-party services
Voiced does not integrate with or send data to any third-party services, APIs, or cloud platforms. The app operates fully independently on your Mac.
Changes to this policy
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or our website.
